Mainstay started because running a coaching practice on a calendar, a spreadsheet and a signing app is a full-time job on top of the actual work.

The tools that exist are either built for salons that see you once, or for clinics with an IT department. Neither fits someone who works with the same people for months, has agreements that matter, keeps notes that are nobody else's business, and often has a family involved.

So this is that. The parts that are hard — a client's own portal, family access that stops at the right line, packages that count themselves, agreements that create the subscription when they are signed — are the parts we built first.
